Converted Books (essentially) began as Sumaire Press in 2011, and the subsequent publication of our first novel, SIOFRA, by Anna Rose, on January 23, 2012.
Over the past decade, with many novels and stories published since that first offering, it has become clear that not all of our publications will be of a supernatural bent. From there, it became obvious that we had to reconsider who we were and how we wished to present ourselves to the world at large. With that, Converted Books was created in on January 24, 2022, one day after the tenth anniversary of SIOFRA‘s first publication.
The Sumaire Press imprint will continue to be available for supernatural-themed offerings, with other genre novels and stories possessing different imprints connected to Converted Books.
